Queenie McQueen rushes to purchase the quilts of recently deceased Edna Hammity, a local woman from a family of rough and tumble farmers. When one special quilt contains Edna's family secrets, it falls to Queenie and Miranda to sort things for Edna's daughter. The Harticutt fortune comes into play and, when there's big money involved, new relatives come out of the woodwork. Add to the mix a secret that Miranda's BFF Diane is keeping, her long lost second sister re-appearing, and Miranda Hathaway has her hands full!
