Each of us has experienced grief in some way, whether it was from the loss of a relative or best friend. This book of free verse and traditional poems address the many stages of grief, emotions, concerns, and experiences I went through as a young, widowed woman. Although this book is written for widows, there are several poems in which everyone can relate. I invite you to travel with me through my journey of widowhood. The journey has yet to end, but it’s not as rocky as when I first traveled that long, dreaded road!
