This booklet presents a contrast between democracy and Islam. It presents the reader with an overview of 5000 years of recorded history covering democracy as a way of life for the civilized world and its achievements, both in the ancient and modern world. Opposing the democratic system is Islam and Shariah law as a way of life as dictated by the Islamic clerics for their own personal power. Democracy and Islamic law are incompatible with each other as worldwide forces. Democracy is based on the rights of all humanity as elected by the people in the civilized world, while Islam is controlled and dictated by the clerics. This booklet highlights these differences.
