Walking us through the writings and perspectives of many scholars’ writings, Jeanie invites us to step outside our own cultural boundaries as we look at terminology and cultural backgrounds concerning Paul’s teachings on women. While respecting different viewpoints, she gives us a big-picture understanding of the different ways women’s roles have been interpreted by the church over time. I love Jeanie’s common-sense conclusions. I love her call to be humble, holy, righteous, godly—and to live in harmony with one another, submitting to one another. I love her example.
