"This book is the first book in a women's fiction romance series. It holds a tinge of suspense and there is a series long mystery that definitely piqued my interest. My mind is buzzing with possibilities for the mystery(s) aspect. Our setting is an island town with a group of sisters who all have previous connections and old flames. I enjoyed the second chance aspect of this romance. Our characters were sweet and we definitely felt their pains over the past. The author did a good job of creating a whole town and world with all of the characters and their descriptions. A unique aspect was the inclusion of a newspaper and having some articles written out within. They added an interesting dynamic to the whole experience. I'm looking forward to reading more of this series and both seeing how these characters develop and sussing out some nefarious actions, both present and past." Michaela
