Grace and David Carver have been married for over a year. When the Simms, a young black couple, move to the area, the Carversare able to help them start a new life. However, a serious threat has arisen: the Ku Klux Klan, which changes both the Simms’ and Carvers’ lives forever. While John Miller, an enemy of the Carvers, struggles to escape the horrors of his past, Grace learns to accept God’s sovereign plan—the good and the bad—and that Jesus alone gives us the strength to forgive the seemingly unforgivable.
