In 2011, Natasha picked up her first German Shepherd puppy. She could never have realized at the time how much this little ball of fluff named Kaiserin would change her life. The two battled Kaiserin’s cancer together while discovering joy in life and learning that there is no obstacle that can’t be overcome. Also an accomplished trick dog trainer, Natasha taught Kaiserin to hold a paintbrush in her mouth and paint as the two worked together to produce art and raise money to help other dog's battling cancer. The painting project continues today with Natasha's other two dogs Schultz and Wilhelmina painting and selling art in Kaiserin's memory. Three for The Road: An Amputation Journey is the story of a woman and a dog and the special bond that deepened after Kaiserin had her rear right leg amputated. It is a touching story of adversity, love and determination.
