Michael Jaquish is a poet, an artist, the author of over fifteen books and a journalist. Following a career as a Police Officer in America he traveled to West Africa to serve as director of security for US Embassy operations in Liberia, Sierra Leone and Gambia and to provide security and logistical support for the NASA Space Shuttle Abort Landing sites in The Gambia and Morocco. During that time he conversed frequently with Astronauts and other NASA employees about UFOs. In his spare time, Michael spent many years roaming the jungles of Africa in search of adventure and exotic creatures and sketching and writing about what he found.
