Shireen Crutchfield has been a familiar face in the entertainment industry for quite some time. As a teenager, she danced on the iconic show Soul Train. From there, she became the lead singer of the 90's R&B group The Good Girls on Motown Records, with three chart topping singles. Over the years, Shireen has successfully branched out into modeling, TV, and film, working with some of the top names in the industry including, Giorgio Armani, Calvin Klein, Rob Lowe, John Lithgow, and Geena Davis. In addition to her on camera work, Shireen also works behind the scenes, writing for TV and film, including her award winning short entitled, “ Birthday Bash ,” which she produced and directed. Having three children of her own, Shireen began writing children’s books. Her latest release, “ Topper Lost & Found ,” the second book in her series, sequel to " Topper Lost His Hopper ," centers around a happy-go-lucky frog who learns through his adventures by the pond. Shireen says, “My bedtime routine with my children has always been an event! In 2018, when my youngest was 6 and my oldest was 15, along with prayer, we would take turns telling a story. We shared a lot of crazy adventures. One night, I began to tell a story about a frog named Topper. I quickly realized I’d stumbled upon a very valuable lesson. It wasn’t until I began putting the story to book form that I realized, Topper is me! I am grateful to all the people and situations in my life that pushed me to fly.” Bullying, teasing and even fear are all a part of life. But there is something Special inside of you just waiting to come out. Topper finds amazing things inside himself on his adventures with his friends.
