Replacement Steps
- If your key fob includes a physical key, slide the release mechanism to detach it. Skip this step if there's no such key. - Use a flat tool like a screwdriver or coin to carefully pry the key fob open along the seam, by inserting and gently twisting the tool.
- Once the key fob is open, carefully remove the old battery. Place the new battery inside, ensuring the positive (+) side is facing upwards.
- Press the two halves of the key fob together firmly to close it. If you detached a physical key, slide it back in until you hear a click.
