My first impression of Rachel wasn’t a good one. But I was drunk and we were at a wake. So my perception may have been a little off. She swore she wasn’t stalking me, but we kept running into each other. After a while, I started running into her on purpose. I was intrigued by this feisty doctor who I knew was only going to cause me pain. But knowing that, still didn’t stop me. I didn’t have time to navigate through a relationship. Especially one with her. I was busy with my work and getting to know my son after missing out on several years of his life. Rachel would be a project. I never was that smart when it came to women. I had to know what made her tick. It’d be a bumpy road. But I needed to ride it out to its inevitable crash and burn.
