On March 9, 2009, Joe Liles set out from Springer Mountain, GA, to hike the north bound route of the Appalachian Trail. The culmination of a life long dream, his trek took him over 2178 miles, 14 states, and 6 months til he reached his final goal of Mt. Katahdin in Maine. Along the way, Joe sent in regular Trail Reports and pictures of his progress and adventures. The story of his journey is contained in the pages of this book.
