Handling and Storage: Clean tools with water while wet; do not freeze or store in direct sunlight; wear protective eyewear and clothing; product has a one-year shelf life. Excellent adhesion on plywood, treated plywood, oriented strand board (OSB) and bare wood. Ideal for 4x4 tubs, roll bars, bumpers, underbodies, wheel wells, rocker panels, trailer floors and DIY pick-up beds. New trailer floors will only require a light sweeping out before application.
Used trailer floors require a more thorough cleaning with special attention to oil spots and gasoline spills. For used trailer floors, remove/replace rotted wood and splinters, fill in major cracks/holes with paintable wood putty. Clean floor with waterborne degreaser (i.e. citrus degreaser). Rinse thoroughly with hose/pressure washer and allow for the floor to completely dry. Repeated cleaning of oily spots might be necessary to ensure proper adhesion.
A fan will increase air flow and reduce drying time.
