TK64 Trailer Floor Coating is a water-based, plastic coating formulated to withstand abrasion in automotive, industrial and agricultural environments. It offers a textured slip-resistant finish in either black or grey. Apply with included 3/8" foam roller. 2 coats minimum required. Excellent adhesion on metals, wood, concrete, and painted surfaces. Use only outdoors or in a well-ventilated area. TK64 should not be exposed to temperatures below 60°F during the application and the curing process. Use proper protective eyewear and clothing.Do Not Freeze and Do Not Store In Direct Sun. 1-year shelf life. Excellent adhesion on plywood, treated plywood, oriented strand board (OSB) and bare wood. New trailer floors will only require a light sweeping out before application. Used trailer floors require a more thorough cleaning with special attention to oil spots and gasoline spills. For used trailer floors, remove/replace rotted wood and splinters, fill in major cracks/holes with paintable wood putty. Clean floor with waterborne degreaser (i.e. citrus degreaser). Rinse thoroughly with hose/pressure washer and allow for the floor to completely dry. Repeated cleaning of oily spots might be necessary to ensure proper adhesion. A fan will increase air flow and reduce drying time.
