This enlightening journey in the motherland is a combination of experiences and lifelong learning that shape my thinking and perspectives on life. My reminiscences artistically present the influence of varied experiences on thought-patterns and provide insight into the impactful nature of my interactions within a variety of social and environmental contexts in a few, historically abundant countries in Africa. Overall, this experience transmutes into a diverse collection of information that will communicate a creative, Afrocentric and philosophical theme to educate and satisfy the reader’s thirst for learning about origin, self, nature and spirituality. The language employed articulates pivotal encounters within nature and highlights the importance of experiential travel as well as conscious observation of natural phenomena in the motherland for higher learning.
