Paul McElroy is president of Charter Industry Services, Inc. headquartered in Stuart, Florida. The company specializes in conducting professional maritime training courses. He founded Charter Industry a trade journal for professionals in the marine charter industry in 1985. He has extensive writing experience in magazines and newspapers with more than 200 published articles to his credit. Captain McElroy received his first United States Coast Guard license in 1983 and operated a sport fishing charter business in the Chicago area for several years. He currently holds a Merchant Marine Officers MASTER - Near Coastal license He served in the United States Air Force, spent a two-year tour in the Far East and specialized in electronics. He speaks Japanese and Spanish. Mr. McElroy received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Florida State University. Prior to joining the maritime industry he was an executive in the headquarters of a major telecommunications corporation. He lives in south Florida with his wife Michi, is a member of the Mystery Writers of America and the National Association of Maritime Educators. This is his second novel.
