STANDARD or THORN Resistant: Our standard inner tube has a thickness of 0.9mm whereas the thorn resistant tube is 2-1/2 times thicker at 3.5mm (on the tread side of the tire where it is most vulenerable to puncture). A thorn "resistant" tube is far less likely to puncture. Thorn Resist Tube maintenance: With the thicker inner tube it is important to always keep your tire inflated to max pressure as indicated on the side of your tire.
