He earned a BFA in Graphic Design with an Illustration emphasis from Oklahoma State University. He has illustrated several children’s books as well as instructional and promotional materials. Thomas crafted a style that uses scratchboard and draws inspiration from old woodcut prints. He has recently shifted to working digitally in a style that captures the same spirit of his traditional work while also opening up many new possibilities.
