This book was phenomenal. An instant winner for me. The story reels you in from the very first chapter, and develops with the complexity and rigorous nature needed to keep the reader hooked. The plot is smooth and flows with ease, and the characters are enjoyable and well developed. I look forward to seeing more in book 2!! This book was great! It has it all! A great strong female protagonist who accidentally travels through time, falls in love with a soldier and learns how to battle demons. There was a lot of action and twists and turns giving the book an engaging fast paced feel. I loved the historical and cultural research the author put into it that was reflected in the setting and the attitudes and concerns of many of the characters. Her relationships with others in the book are strong and complex. The plot twist at the end was totally unexpected! A fun page turner you'll definitely want to check out! Excellent story with great plot twists and romance. Excellent command of grammar and vocabulary. Not just for young adults. I think all will like this book. Am anxiously awaiting the next 2.
