Dick and Mary Cabela were married in 1955. They've been blessed with nine children and 19 grandchildren. In 1961, they founded Cabela's when they started selling hand-tied fishing flies through classified ads.Over 40 years later, Cabela's is one of the largest, best-known and best liked outdoor outfitting companies in the world. They still live in Nebraska, but spend time traveling all over the world, following the passion they've always shared - hunting.David Cabela is the authir of Cabela's World's Foremost Outfitter.
