This storm door mortise lock with flat slot is NOT universial, please make sure that you are buying one that has the same spindle hub shape and key cylinder style for your door handle. Designed as a replacement hardware only on doors using a 4-sided spindle. Not compatible with Larson QuickFit Series replacement mortise lock body with 5-sided or hexagonal spindle hub. Handle PZ (center of cylinder to center of handle) is 2-1/2-inch. Faceplate screw holes spaced at 7 inches (Screws included). Helpful Tips: Do not throw away your original hardware, you may need them for the installation of your new part. Put a piece of cardboard between screwdriver and door to prevent marring or chipping paint. Requires a factory bored 5/8-in by 5-3/4-in mortised hole on the edge of the door.
