The sun is a source of energy that keeps us alive. When a person willingly chooses to block out the light in the sky, they avoid burning their eyes, but they are left in the shadow of their own handling. USING YOUR HAND TO BLOCK OUT THE SUN is a collection of experimental prose poetry and short stories dealing with different ideas of eclipsing and showcasing the darkness that people subject themselves to in their pursuit to avoid being blinded by the sun.
