James Baldwin once said, “If I love you, I have to make you conscious of the things you don’t see." Baldwin’s words resonate with the goal of Ubiquity . It intends to help unfold the hidden reality of race in America through an examination of the social and legal systems which maintain it. Ubiquity challenges narratives of race as an outmoded, tabooed, or unimportant classification. Ubiquity intends to interrogate the consciousness around race and explore the mediums which continue to perpetuate race’s grand narrative.
