Joseph was a rich and powerful merchant from Arimathea whose only concern was to deliver large shipments of valuable tin to the Romans from Cornwall. When he receives news of his niece, struggling to raise her son after the death of her husband, Joseph boldly steps in as surrogate father and begins training her only son, Jeshua, to follow in his footsteps as a trade merchant. Joseph realizes his nephew is very different from the rest of the young men, particularly when he expresses his passion for God. But it wasn't until that fateful day when Jeshua decided to go back to Israel that Joseph's idea about who his nephew really was changed his life forever. M.E.
