Before UnholyMary was Shades of White, a post High-School band between two life-long friends, who wrote more songs than they can remember from 1997 to 2006. The best of those original unaltered songs have been re-captured here, written in Tablature and Music Notation. Screaming from the past, they foreshadowed what was to eventually manifest itself as UnholyMary. This is a double album of music. The first being Unholy Blues, the second: The Philosophy of Darkness. Paying homage to his life-long friend, and singer, Justin Lewis Bolman, Joshua James Hunter adamantly captures some of the essential tracks he wrote some 28 years ago. All music, except Blackwood, Statistic/Downcast, and Yurin Analysis, written by Joshua James Hunter. Cover is Saturn Devouring his Children by Francisco Goya, illustrating (graphically) a warning against holding onto the past and stagnating. Being so afraid of moving forward that you actually become a monster. Two songs by Nathan Thomas Hunter also included.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
