Soft Dinner Rolls Ingredients:
- 4 cups All Purpose Flour
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 tsp active dry yeast
- 3 Tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/4 milk powder
- 4 Tbsp butter
Instructions:
- In the bowl of a stand mixer, add warm water, brown sugar, and yeast. Stir until the sugar and yeast are dissolved. Let sit for 5 minutes.
- Add flour, salt, milk powder, and butter. Using a dough hook, mix on low speed for 4 minutes. Turn speed up to medium and mix for 6-8 minutes. The dough should be smooth and pull away from the sides of the bowl.
- Transfer dough to a large bowl greased with oil. Cover and let rise for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
- Punch down dough and divide into 12 equal portions. About 2.5 oz each. Roll each piece of dough into a ball and place in a greased 9x13 inch baking dish. Cover loosely and let rise for one hour.
- Bake at 375°F for 18-20 minutes, or until evenly golden brown on top. Remove from oven and brush with melted butter while still hot.
Yields 12 large rolls
