Unspoken Oba Obinrin is a narrative of Yoruba female kings and the unspoken history of the female monarchs. The message is that our culture does not undermine women and my aim is to pay tribute to these ancient women of old, bringing out their stories which has been forgotten by history, to reconstruct the consciousness of these powerful women and the importance of women's involvement to the society not just as wives but as leaders.
