This is the story of David George Bond (my grandfather) who had a patent for the turn signal for cars in 1927. However due to patent laws and rejection from bank loans, the patent expired and was taken away from him. This is his story. A Black man in the Jim Crow South overcoming rejection but remaining humble and persistent!
