I was very sad when I learned that my god-daughter, Annabelle, had passed away. Unfortunately, I was abroad on business and could not attend her funeral service, and it took me several days before the full impact of the unhappy news sank in. It caused me to feel so heartbroken for my dear friends, John and Ingrid. I remember the first time they brought little Annabelle and her three sisters to the Island Breeze Recording Studio in Osceola, Florida, to film and edit into videos two of the many music compositions I had the honor of recording for them in the early days. Annabelle was always smiling and amazed by what her sisters and mother did as they acted out their parts. Annabelle was about three years old and never shy to be in front of the camera during the takes. Beautiful Island Girl , Berbice Gyal , and Golden Locket come to mind. She did some spontaneous things without anyone prompting her. I also remember her interest in video editing as a middle and high school teenager. The frequent phone calls to me resulted in her amateur attempts. May the memory of Annabelle continue to live in the hearts and minds of everyone, especially her dear family.
