Apply sealant/5 PTFE wraps to threads b. Hand - tighten PRV to 3/4" port c.Wrench - turn PRV till discharge port down d. Max 2 turns past hand - tight 3. Wrap hot outlet (≥5 PTFE),connect union. Tighten nut with valve lower part 4. Align hot drain direction 5. Tighten union to hot valve (~15 ft - lbs) 6. Repeat 4 -5 for cold valve (blue) to tankless inlet 7. Connect cold inlet to main supply 8. Connect hot outlet to hot plumbing 9. Ensure drain levers closed (perpendicular to body) ATTENTION Over tightening any of the valves or union fittings can cause cracking and/or other damage to the product.as a result, hot water could spray out and cause severe burn or scalding resulting in permanent injury or death. It was not designed for installations exposed to subfreezing conditions, please keep this in mind when choosing a location to install your tankless water heater. Drain valves should remain closed during normal operation. Do not rely on the drain cap to stop the water from draining.
