Handmade in Lancaster County, PA, each shelf is hand torched using the ancient Japanese chemical free Shou-Sugi-Ban charring process. Multiple pieces of Oak are expertly joined to create the 11” depth, allowing you to display dishes, books and other large pieces on your shelves Our Low Profile Brackets must be mounted into studs. Brackets and all mounting hardware are included. The Low Profile Brackets mount into studs with 2.5" lag bolts, and will hold up to 50lbs per bracket when mounted into studs as required The notches on the 24" shelves are routed at 16" apart on center. On the 36" and 48" shelves the notches are routed at 32" apart on center. All notches are centered on the backs of the shelves. Each shelf is made to a substantial 11” depth, making them deep enough to provide excellent storage space. With a weight capacity of 100 lbs per shelf, these shelves can easily hold bowls, plates, potted plants, and any number of items you want to display or safely store.
