As the preparations for a mission in Japan are complete, Jim and his diverse undercover team find themselves manipulated to take the mission to a new level. Years later, Jim, a tight group of friends, and a gorgeous undercover federal agent, plan the retrieval of a buried classic Corvette transmission en route to an annual reunion. To accomplish their mission they collaborate with the former owner of the Corvette. The zany quest soon becomes serious. Deep in the New Hampshire woods, the friends find themselves in a life and death struggle with a group of religious extremists and corrupt cops that have buried more than a transmission. The incidents inspire fictional events that are woven into a funny and exciting action packed adventure. Jim ran through the woods, more worried about being a target for the sniper if he stopped than he was about being observed. The only problem was that the doors into the carriage house were all in a direct line of fire from where the sniper was located inside the house. Voss had already figured this out. As Jim ran up to the side of the carriage house farthest away from the house, a climbing rope and attached nylon strap dropped out of the window. Jim sent up the M-1 and his pack with the ammo. When the rope came back down Jim climbed into the loop and worked his way up the stonewall with Voss pulling the rope. The stone ended about seven feet below the windowsill and Jim jumped catching the edge of the sill. Voss continued to pull the rope, making the pull up easy and Jim was soon inside. Voss quickly turned and MP-5 in hand ran to the other side of the building, worried that some uninvited guests had gotten closer while he was helping Jim. Lee A.
