ONE-WAY BAT EXCLUSION - Bats crawl through the 6" cone to exit your attic, soffit, or roofline - but cannot find their way back in. The tapered design and smooth interior make re-entry impossible. No trapping, no handling, no dead bats - they simply leave and cannot return SIMPLE 4-TAB INSTALLATION - Mount over the bat entry point using screws, staples, or adhesive caulk. Four flexible polyethylene tabs conform to siding, brick, wood, or vinyl surfaces. Install at a slight downward angle (10-20 degrees from horizontal) for best results. Seal edges with caulk or tape. Covers openings up to 2" diameter 100% HUMANE - NO TRAPPING - Bats are beneficial (one bat eats 1,000+ mosquitoes per night) - this excluder lets them relocate naturally without harm. No poisons, no sticky traps, no dead bats to remove. They exit on their own schedule, typically at dusk, and simply find a new roost elsewhere PROTECT YOUR HOME & HEALTH - Bat colonies in attics cause real damage - guano accumulation, urine staining, insulation contamination, and potential histoplasmosis exposure. Bats in your attic? Hearing scratching at night? The WCS Bat Cone II is a professional-grade one-way excluder that lets bats exit your home but prevents them from returning - no trapping, no poisons, no dead bats to deal with.
Here is how it works: Mount the 6" cone over the bat entry point at a slight downward angle (10-20 degrees from horizontal). Bats crawl through the tapered cone to exit, but the smooth interior and narrow opening make re-entry impossible. They fly away at dusk and simply find a new roost elsewhere. It is humane, effective, and used by wildlife professionals nationwide.
The four flexible polyethylene tabs conform to virtually any surface - vinyl siding, brick, wood, or aluminum. Attach with screws, staples, or adhesive caulk. Seal the edges with caulk or tape for best results. The Bat Cone II covers openings up to 2" in diameter. For larger gaps, seal the excess space so the cone forms a secure one-way exit.
IMPORTANT: Identify ALL entry points before installation. Bats often use multiple access points - if you only seal one, they will use another. Do a "bat watch" at dusk to see where bats are exiting. Install cones at each active entry point.
Leave cones in place for a minimum of 3-5 days - longer for larger colonies - to ensure all bats have exited. Once you are certain the bats are gone, remove the cones and permanently seal the openings with caulk, foam, or hardware cloth.
Do NOT install during bat maternity season (typically May-August). Flightless baby bats will be trapped inside. Contact your local wildlife agency for specific timing in your area.
Bats are beneficial - a single bat eats over 1,000 mosquitoes per night. This excluder lets them relocate humanely while protecting your home from guano accumulation, insulation damage, and potential health risks.
Made from durable, weather-resistant polyethylene that will not crack, fade, or degrade. Reusable season after season.
