To operate this camera, please ensure that the SD card is inserted and the batteries are loaded. 1. Lift the front cover to see the "eject" button. 2. Please ensure that the camera is turned off when inserting an SD card or loading or unloading batteries. 3. To release and remove the battery tray for loading, click the battery tray eject button. 4. Make sure that each battery is inserted so that its polarity (+/- direction) corresponds with the polarity indicators located at the battery tray's bottom. It is recommended to use a complete set of 8 AA lithium or alkaline batteries. 5. When you insert the battery frame into the host, a faint "click" will sound, indicating that the battery tray is locked. 6. Be sure the SD card is inserted properly.
