For 36 years, poet and photographer Bob Nandell has lived next to a wooded trail where he walks each morning. Accompanied by generations of dogs, he witnessed seasons changing from winter’s first snows to spring buds popping open. In this time to savor and to think, his own understanding of the gifts given by God to his people has grown into spiritual awakening. Bob Nandell is a retired photographer who spent 43 years in the newspaper business. He lives in West Des Moines, Iowa.
