The designers are well known 'modern' quilters who have some great quilt projects—there's even an Aussie quilter amongst them :) It's hard to pick a favourite but I absolutely love Jacquie Gering's Think Big which is on the front cover—its bright and wonderful as is Malka Dubrawsky's Sweet as Pi baby quilt. Each project has an introduction by the designer with comprehensive instructions and quilting and finishing tips. They range from easy to a bit more challenging with a few improv projects and applique as well. There are very clear diagrams to help with putting the quilts together and there is a section toward the end of the book with general instructions on how to finish the quilt. Also included in the book is an interview with Denyse Schmidt who talks about the use of solids in her quilts. The last pages have information about all of the designers of the projects and as a bonus all of the Kona solids used in the book are listed too.
