Welcome Home, Tobi, is an accompaniment to the Hey Porter book series for young readers so that they may learn and know about pet rescue and pet adoption. Follow along the pages of this book with Porter the dog’s friend, Tobi the cat, as his story of being rescued and wlecomed home is shared. This book helps babies, toddlers, and young children develop a connection with the world of pet adoption. Bright colors, simple designs, and spelled-out pet sounds allow young readers to learn about an important kind of pet- what we believe to be the best and most undervalued- the rescued, adopted pet. We hope that this book is one small step towards introducing the idea of and commitment to adoption to more families when adding a furry friend to your family.
