A walk through the Apostles’ Creed. “But as for you, teach what accords with sound doctrine.” (Titus 2:1) Setting forth the foundational truths of Christianity is what the Apostles’ Creed is all about. It is a distillation of what the Bible teaches about God and His dealings with His creation, including us. The creed is widely affirmed by Protestants, Roman Catholics, Anglicans, and the Orthodox churches as being an accurate summary of the Christian faith. The purpose of this little book is to walk the reader through the creed’s statements and explain their meanings through the Bible passages from which they come. Though seasoned Christians may find it useful as a devotional guide, the book is mainly written for new Christians, those who are curious about the Christian faith, and parents for the instruction of their children. At the end of the book is a catechism intended for use by families and schools.
