All come into the world with similar characteristics. However, we are born with unique genetics. Our eyes, hair, and skin color may differ. Soon after birth, babies realize that they have a voice. As toddlers, they learn what their bodies can and cannot do. Children study others with keen interest. They have a desire to test their surroundings. Many are socialized at early stages. They look at their world with puzzlement. They begin questions with the word why. Facilitators can answer each child with easy words and sentences. They don't need the intellectual explanations. They just want to know what makes people the same and what makes them different.
