More and more people are opting for cremation. There is little doubt that cremation has become more popular in the Western countries since the mid–twentieth century. Why is this growth occurring? He also serves as Distinguished Senior Professor of Theology and Apologetics at Southern Evangelical Seminary, which he co-founded in 1992. He previously served as a professor at some of the finest seminaries in the U.S., including Trinity Evangelical Divinity School and Dallas Theological Seminary. He has authored or co-authored over 100 books and hundreds of articles. Douglas E. Potter , D.Min., is an assistant professor and Director of the Doctor of Ministry program at Southern Evangelical Seminary. He has been teaching Christian theology and apologetics for over a decade and is an author or co-author of several books.
