This is not a travel book as such, but a true story of life, love, and adventure that takes you on a journey. On 16 August 2009, we sold, donated, and trashed all our possessions, gave up our jobs, rented out our house, and bought “one of those Land Rover things.” Destination: the world. No one thought we’d make it past France. Honestly, neither did we. What followed was an epic journey across countries and continents — but mostly through life itself. The reality of a dream, of a relationship, sex, hygiene, illness, corruption, pollution, poverty, and moments of utter joy. There are times when life changes forever, when a path becomes your path.
