While visiting a home in Northern Maine, the Chosen Ones are given a new Prophecy by Awasos, a great black bear and another Keeper of the Books. The home had been a stop on the Underground Railroad but was shrouded in scandal because of the mysterious disappearance years before of hundreds of gems and a priceless necklace. The Chosen, along with two of their friends and a set of parents, are whisked back in time to 1850 in order to find the gems and save one of Oliver and Storm's descendants, Kenston, from a life in prison. The children uncover a sinister smuggling ring using the Underground Railroad to smuggle gems into Canada. They have three days to find the gems and catch the crooks, or Kenston will die an innocent in prison. With help in the present while the Chosen are in the past, the children lay out a plan to stop the smuggling ring. Time is ticking and the Chosen are stumped on the ending of the Prophecy. How are they supposed to get home? Follow the Chosen Ones and their friends as they learn to rely on God and each other. Their job isn't easy, especially for children, but they are determined to follow The Ancient of Days. They are determined to stop the bad guys. And they are determined to get home.
