Leslie Quafina never had the luxury of friends or a normal childhood, her parents died when she was very young and she now lives with her uncle Ethan in a town that doesn’t appreciate her. She is constantly bullied at school, and swears that she will one day get her revenge on them. Leslie’s whole life changes one day when she is walking home from school during a storm and is struck by lightning. The strike caused Leslie to develop the power over the lightning and she uses it to punish anyone who ever hurt her. Leslie quickly discovers that her new powers are well beyond her control, and what’s worse is there is now a mysterious dark figure stalking her that only she can see. Leslie doesn’t know if the menacing figure with dark, cruel eyes aims to help her, or harm her.They say lighting never strikes the same place twice, but what unimaginable power does it really have when it does strike? Jessica Moen is a graduate of Northeastern Il University where she received her masters in English composition.
