This is a true tale of a man (Tim) and his family and their pet dog (Winston). The youngest daughter (Abby) was competing with Winston in some local competitions. He was an athlete and at the top of his career. When, suddenly, Winston was diagnosed with terminal, advanced, bone cancer. The vets gave Winston no hope of survival and little hope of any significant time. "He will die in weeks," they told him. Tim believed, however, he heard God say Winston would not die. He stood by his faith as he and his family, and many friends, began to pray for Winston. In a few months, after getting much worse, Winston was suddenly, miraculously, healed despite what all of the medical evidence told them. Now, Tim and Winston share their story in a wonderful way accompanied by water-colored images in this heart-warming tale. Tim has been described as a craftsman on many levels. However, he most enjoys the craft of story-telling. He writes often, as an outlet for expression, although he doesn't formally consider himself a "writer." He has written a few published articles for a news paper in a nearby city, and has a blog for his personal website to which he contributes quarterly. Tim owns his own business and works at his church as the missions pastor and the men's pastor. He is a husband to an incredible woman, Karen, a father, step father and father-in-law to six incredible people. Jon and Kat, Ashley, Kaitlyn and Kevin and Abby. He is also a grandfather to arguably the three best little boys and the two most beautiful and best little girls in the world. He is an avid outdoors-man and typically prefers to be outside over in. It is his love of the outdoors that drives many of his habits, character traits, and stories. He believes God speaks to him often through his time spent out-of-doors and hopes to relay those moments as effectively as possible, in his writings.
