Smudge feather fan for magical ceremonies and smudging spaces. Made of Selenite Stick and three types of fallen feathers. The handle is made of selenite stick. Purple leather cord wrapped wand handle It is a symbol of noble romance and mysterious. The feathers are all harvested FALLEN feathers, NOT PLUCKED. Gathered almost daily from our lake residents. Peacock, and Pheasant feathers and an Ostrich feather are securely wrapped in layers of hemp to an ergonomically designed handle. The eye on the peacock’s feather symbolizes the inner vision, the intuition, and the pheasant feather has protective properties and guards a person in his dreaming. Feathers in the shamanic tradition are a symbol of connection between the realms, a messenger from the higher forces. These wands are approximately 11" long x 7" wide. Each wand is as unique as the feathers and selenite used so expect some appropriate variation in size and handle width to accommodate symmetry of the components. This ritual hand fan combines three elements and is used to smudge spaces with Palo Santo, Sage and other incenses. When smudging, use the fan to softly direct the smoke to the desired direction. Keep it in a sacred place, like an altar. Each of my feather fans is a unique creation of earth magic! You may find your fan useful for cleansing a person or space with the smoke of sacred plants, a practice commonly known as smudging. Or, you may lightly brush the tips of the feathers directly over your body in a downward motion, particularly focusing on your heart chakra. This is a powerful practice during times of transformation and change. My feather fans are also beautiful mounted on the wall, as part of an altar space or personal shrine, or as a special gift for someone who values personal growth work and connection to nature.
