Woody Woodchuck and his Mama live in a porch-fronted cabin in a meadow just off the woods. One day, Woody decides to surprise his Mama by bringing in the wash from a clothesline. Maybe he'll even get an extra slice of his favorite wild-berry and acorn pie for helping! Suddenly, a huge wind gust sweeps in without warning. Woody is knocked off the log and loses his glasses while several laundry items get blown into the woods. Woody doesn’t see much without his thick glasses but decides to go find the clothes without them. He searches deeper and deeper into the woods. Finally he stops, realizing he is lost, alone and afraid. There in the deep woods Woody encounters four woodland creatures: Billy Badger, Sebastian Skunk, Fannie Fox and Daisy Deer. Each of the soon to be new friends he meets possess one weak sense and one strong sense that may prove helpful. Can they work together using their strengths to overcome the obstacles they encounter and help Woody find his way back home to Mama? ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Literary Titan - May 2025 At its heart, Woody Woodchuck: Lost in the Woods is a charming tale about getting lost, finding help, and learning that everyone's got something special to offer.
