World Orphans has adopted the Home Based Care (HBC) model that focuses on strengthening and empowering families and keeping them together as God intended. One key of the HBC model is to care for and train families wholistically. This wholistic care curriculum provides training resources for HBC caregivers and churches in the Home Based Care program and seeks to meet specific outcomes in social, emotional, and family interactions, education and intellectual growth, basic health care and nutrition, basic economic literacy and stewardship, and spiritual understanding and growth.
