The issuance of the World War I Victory Medal established another precedent, that of wearing clasps with the names of individual battles on the suspension ribbon of a general campaign medal. When the ribbon bar alone was worn, each clasp was represented by a small (3/16" diameter) bronze star. To be awarded this you had to have been a member of the Armed Forces who served at least one 1-day active federal service. Instituted for service between April 6, 1917, and November 11, 1918. These ribbons are made to the highest official government standards and uniform approved. All of the ribbons we have featured are unmounted and do not come with a holding bar.

How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzes reviews to verify trustworthiness.
