The ensuing connection that Mitzi and Charley make with modern-day vampires, the discovery of an ancient and secret family history, and an entanglement with the most powerful vampire on the planet, Lord Adrastos, puts them on a trajectory to danger and takes them from their small-town life to some of the most remote locales on the planet.
