This product is primarily intended to be used as a parasol, but it can also be used as a rain umbrella due to its water repellent finish.
Heavy rain or prolonged use as a rain umbrella may cause leaks or fading of color.
Due to the nature of the design, it may be difficult to achieve a complete waterproof finish, and this may cause the rain to soak through.
